Pedro Silva

In the last 34 years, Pedro’s work experiences have included Research Director at the University of Toronto, Kinesiologist and Clinical Director for a multi-disciplinary chronic pain management clinic, Director of Fitness and Program Development at private fitness facilities, as well as Consultant for private physiotherapy treatment centers in the development and implementation of Functional Capacity Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, Job Site Analysis, Return to Work Programs and Customized Rehabilitation Programs.

Pedro is a private practitioner providing physical conditioning and lifestyle consulting to specific populations. His work focuses on improving quality of life in the post-trauma population and on structured athletic development programs in basketball, soccer, golf, racquet sports, hockey, skiing /snowboarding, baseball, swimming, cycling and running. He is the Strength & Conditioning Coach/ Trainer for the Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Intercounty Team, and was the Strength / Conditioning/ Sports Nutrition and Muscle Recovery Specialist to Canadian Ultra-Marathon Cyclist Larry Optis during preparation and participation in the Race across America, from Oceanside (California) to Atlantic City.
